David Liner joined Frostwood Energy in August 2016 as a Senior Geologist.
Previously, Mr. Liner was a Geologist and Reserve Coordinator at Marathon Oil Corporation. There he was responsible for evaluating reserves for all worldwide projects while overseeing producing assets in the Williston, Wind River, and Big Horn basins, and offshore Equatorial Guinea. Mr. Liner’s former assignment was as a Development Geologist in the Eagle Ford shale, completing regional studies, acreage delineation, and executing in excess of 50 successful wells.
Mr. Liner began his career with Petrohawk Energy (acquired by BHP Billion Petroleum), where he acquired operations and development geology skills in several positions of increasing responsibility. In the Haynesville shale he participated in an intensive drilling program, supervising five rigs while planning and geosteering more than 60 wells. Mr. Liner also appraised and expanded Petrohawk’s acreage position in the Midland Basin, designing and implementing its development program.
Mr. Liner holds a BS in Geosciences from the University of Tulsa and MS in Geology from the University of Houston.
