CARL M. KEMMERLY

Vice President of Land

Carl Kemmerly is the Vice President of Land at Frostwood Energy and is responsible for all land and business development responsibilities of the company.

 

Prior to Frostwood Energy, Carl served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Northwind Energy Partners, LLC. Mr. Kemmerly was responsible for negotiating exploration agreements, joint venture agreements, farmouts, operating agreements and purchase and sales agreements.

 

Prior to his role as Senior VP, Mr. Kemmerly worked as Vice President of Land at Northwind. His primary role was facilitating the acquisitions of Bayou Choctaw Field, Lake Mongoulois Field and Napoleonville Field. Mr. Kemmerly was responsible for leasehold acquisition, pipeline right-of-ways, surface agreements, seismic options, master service agreements and seismic licensing agreements. He also was in charge of hiring and overseeing title attorneys, title curative, retaining unitization specialist and was the primary person in charge of settling litigation.

 

Mr. Kemmerly began his career with Jack Nahoum & Associates, where he worked as a contract field landman for Shell Oil Company, Williams, Inc., Davis Oil Company and Mosbacher Energy Co. Mr. Kemmerly also served as Vice President of Land for CLK Energy Partners, LLC, Marlin Energy, LLC and Trek Oil & Gas, LLC.

 

Mr. Kemmerly earned a BA in General Business and a BS in Geology from Louisiana State University.
