Chuck Henry is Vice President of Geosciences and, alongside Mr. Eubanks and Mr. Gaudet, co-founded Frostwood Energy in 2016. Mr. Henry leads all geologic activities for Frostwood to include strategic new business development, geological evaluation of acquisition opportunities and development of company assets.
Prior to founding Frostwood Energy, Mr. Henry held the position of Vice President of Geoscience at Energy XXI. At Energy XXI Mr. Henry was responsible for managing the Exploitation Geoscience staff focusing their efforts across the company’s core fields in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Henry joined Energy XXI in 2007 as a Senior Geologic Advisor and played an integral role in prospect generation across many of the company’s core assets, most notably in West Delta 73 and Main Pass 73. His technical leadership played a critical part that led to a material uplift in both production and reserves associated with many of the company’s core fields.
Prior to joining Energy XXI, Mr. Henry worked as a Geoscientist and Senior Geoscientist for Texaco, Dominion E&P, and Energy Partners, Ltd where he held several positions of increasing responsibility associated with exploitation and exploration of fields and reservoirs in southern Louisiana. These roles also included acting as the primary geoscientist for numerous acquisition and divestiture packages and all associated technical due diligence.
Mr. Henry holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Geology from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science Degree in Geology from the University of New Orleans, and an MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
