Brian Gaudet is Chief Operating Officer and, alongside Mr. Eubanks and Mr. Henry, co-founded Frostwood Energy in 2016. Mr. Gaudet leads all acquisition engineering analysis, asset development and drilling strategy, and reserve analysis.
Prior to founding Frostwood Energy, Mr. Gaudet held the position of Reservoir Engineer of Mergers, Acquisitions, & Joint Ventures at Energy XXI, where he focused on the identification and evaluation of numerous Gulf of Mexico Shelf acquisition targets and strategic joint venture opportunities and supported the company’s non-core asset divestiture efforts. Mr. Gaudet joined Energy XXI in 2013 as a Reservoir Engineer and played an integral role in the implementation and management of the company’s most innovative and core exploitation program in the West Delta 73 Field. Alongside a multidisciplinary team that included Mr. Henry, Mr. Gaudet drilled 15 horizontal wells as part of a brownfield redevelopment program that contributed nearly 5,000 Bopd of production growth to the company.
Mr. Gaudet began his career with Chevron in 2009, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in both Reservoir and Production Engineering disciplines in offshore Gulf of Mexico, onshore Gulf Coast, and San Joaquin Valley basins. It was through his unique early exposure to a diverse range of operating and subsurface environments and large scale capital projects that Mr. Gaudet developed a holistic, fully integrated approach to asset and project management with a focus on full cycle reservoir evaluation.
Mr. Gaudet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University.
